At Tajima Roofing, we demonstrated the construction of various waterproofing methods and experienced the construction.
We studied various types of waterproofing, including asphalt waterproofing, sheet waterproofing, and coating film waterproofing, together with students from the Materials Laboratory at Tokyo Tech.
The smell of asphalt is worrisome, but when a certain chemical was added, asphalt changed to the smell of soap, and everyone was surprised.
After the workshop, we also visited the rooftop greening.
